COOPERATIVE YOUTH DAY TO COLUMBUS – OCTOBER 22
Firelands Electric will be selecting up to 25 high school students to participate in its fourth annual Cooperative Youth Day to our state’s capital. This FREE, all-day chartered bus trip to the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus will take place on Thursday, October 22. Participants will explore Ohio's government, history, and politics with opportunities to tour the Statehouse, meet with legislators, and much more.
Students DO NOT need to be co-op members to apply – they simply need to be in grades 9-12. Our short online application is due September 11 and can be accessed by visiting www.firelandsec.com/cooperative-youth-day.

Every year, Western Reserve government students are invited to Republican and Democratic dinners. The Democratic dinner is always early kicking off the year and the Republican dinner is later in the year. Students are recommended to attend both if possible.
Tonight’s middle school volleyball game which was originally scheduled to be played at Monroeville is now going to be played at Western Reserve in the high school gym at 5 PM.
Doors will open up at 4:30 PM
*We will now play at Monroeville on the 30th.

Stuff The Bus!
The Board of Education meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, 2026, has been cancelled.
Any girls going into 7th or 8th grade interested in volleyball are encouraged to attend the Middle School Volleyball Camp July 28th-30th. This is a camp to see how volleyball is played and try it out. All are welcome.

For all extra-curricular activities, you are required submit a valid Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form to the High School Office prior to the beginning of Mandatory Practices for all Fall Sports.

The 20th Annual WR Endowment Board Golf Outing is officially in the books, and it was one of our best years yet! 🏌️
