At the November 11, 2025 Board of Education Meeting, the Western Reserve Local School District proudly recognized the Wakeman Caring Community Board for their outstanding volunteer service and presented them with the Volunteer Appreciation Award.
This incredible group embodies what it means to serve others. Their energy, generosity, and unwavering commitment provide vital support to families throughout the 44889 area. From food distribution and emergency financial assistance to youth programs and community connections, their work truly makes a difference every single day.
Wakeman Caring Community recently expanded its service capacity with a new addition at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wakeman—another example of their dedication to meeting the growing needs of our neighbors.
