Mrs. Jump did a lesson on worrying for the 2nd grade.  She showed them that just like a root beer float…..a little bit of worry is ok.  Too much worry (root beer) makes a mess!!  The students also got to enjoy a root beer float.

This famous quote by Helen Keller, 'Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much', was observed first hand today in preschool. Students worked collaboratively to construct a track that weaved all across the room. Discussions were had, compromises were made and problems solving skills were tested, and in the end, WR's 4 and 5 year olds kept persevering to complete the task. We are WR!

Mr. Sheldon, our high school assistant principal and boys basketball coach, read "Hop on Pop" to Mrs. Buck's class in celebration of Dr. Suess week! He also brought the class some Sprite to enjoy some "pop." The class has been learning to read and write simple rhyming words. Today their words were pop and hop. We are WR!
