Pending approval by our school board, Mrs. (Rosenau) Klimczak is preparing to join Mount Vernon School District on a trip to Belize, South America. Students and community members are welcome to embark on this journey. No knowledge of Spanish is needed but a quest for adventure certainly is. The price of $4000.00 includes airfare, three meals a day and hotel stays for the entire trip. You can reserve your spot for only $95.00! Kindergarten students took down their sun poster that the class made in September. It was placed in the window all year to show the class the importance of sun protection. They also discussed summer safety and learned facts about the sun in science.
