Hello Roughriders,

Welcome back to school!

As we kick off another year, I’m excited to continue our journey together as your principal. This year, we’re introducing several initiatives to support our students' success and growth.

We’re expanding Enrichment to help students build connections and provide assistance. With the addition of The Power of ICU, we will focus on academic success by ensuring students complete assignments and get the support they need. To boost reading skills, we’re also implementing Morphology vocabulary training, which focuses on word structure to improve comprehension.

Additionally, our new cell phone policy will require phones to be kept in lockers for the entire school day, including lunch. This change aims to reduce distractions and encourage more meaningful interactions.

These changes will continue to drive our school in a positive direction by adding additional elements of accountability, responsibility, and respect for one another as we focus on our primary goal of student learning.
