Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of the staff at Western Reserve Elementary, it is our pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you. Our goal is to be your partners in education and help each student have a successful and rewarding school year. We are working to provide your child with the best education possible.

Our PTO is an invaluable asset to the school and to our programs. They sponsor special programs and activities for our students each year. Please consider joining this wonderful organization.

The maintenance staff contributes to the positive atmosphere of our school. Our custodial staff takes great pride in the condition of our building. Many thanks to them for their efforts all through the year.

Answers to many questions are in the parent/student handbook which you can find on our Home page Quick Links section under the Parent Information category. It contains valuable information on behavior expectations and dress code. If you would like a hard copy of the handbook, please request one from the office.

Your child's safety is very important to us. We dismiss car riders beginning at 3:15 p.m. To ensure an orderly dismissal, we release students to the auditeria and send them directly to parent vehicles in the pick up line at the main entrance. We ask they you display your family name card prominently. If you arrive after buses have entered the drive, please park and come to the main office. We release students after sign-out from the front office when picked up before dismissal. We do not release students from the classroom. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with these important safety issues.

We appreciate the opportunity to work with our most valuable asset: your children. Thank you for sharing them with us. It is rewarding to watch their growth and progress each year. Working together, we will continue to educate for excellence while providing an inviting place for children to learn. We always look forward to partnering with parents to achieve success for our students. Please remember that you are always welcome at Western Reserve Elementary.
