The Western Reserve Local Schools Endowment Fund
is a private, not-for-profit fund, chartered by the State of Ohio.
The Fund is comprised solely of voluntary donations made by
community donors. Gifts can be cash, securities, real or personal property.
Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Donors are individuals and organizations who believe students
and teachers can achieve educational excellence with community support.
Each year the Fund’s Board of Trustees is empowered to accept and
review all applications for teacher grants and scholarships. The
Trustee’s expenditures are strictly limited to the interest earned by the
Funds’ investments. The Fund’s dollars are held and managed by the
Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County.
