RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
Minutes of Western Reserve Board of Education Special Meeting
Held December 28, 2007.
The Western Reserve Board of Education met in special session at 7:30
a.m. on December 28,
2007, in the Board Office. Mrs. Fannin called the meeting to order. The
following members
responded to roll call: Mrs. Fannin, Mr. Boose, Mr. Daniels, and
Treasurer Brett Robson. Mrs.
Pickett arrived at 7:35 a.m. and Mr. Todd arrived at 7:37 a.m.
Mr. Daniels moved, seconded by Mr. Boose, the Board approve the agenda.
Mrs. Fannin-yes, Mr. Boose-yes, Mr. Daniels-yes.
Motion passed.
Mr. Daniels moved, seconded by Mr. Boose, the Board approve the
retirement/severance
agreement for non-union, central office administrative assistants
Phyllis Brucker and Gayle
Frederick.
Mrs. Fannin-yes, Mr. Boose-yes, Mr. Daniels-yes.
Motion passed.
Mr. Daniels moved, seconded by Mr. Boose, the Board approve corrective
action for the minutes
of July 18, 2007 to reflect Susie Sidell as freshman volleyball coach
rather than freshman girls’
basketball coach.
Mrs. Fannin-yes, Mr. Boose-yes, Mr. Daniels-yes, Mrs. Pickett-yes.
Motion passed.
Mr. Boose moved, seconded by Mr. Daniels, the Board approve Susie Sidell
as freshman girls’
basketball coach for the 2007-2008 season, contingent upon successful
completion of all Board
requirements, retroactive to October 17, 2007.
Mrs. Fannin-yes, Mr. Boose-yes, Mr. Daniels-yes, Mrs. Pickett-yes.
Motion passed.
Mr. Daniels moved, seconded by Mr. Boose, the Board enter into executive
session to discuss
personnel matters.
Mrs. Fannin-yes, Mr. Boose-yes, Mr. Daniels-yes, Mrs. Pickett-yes.
Motion passed.
The Board entered into executive session at 7:37 a.m.
Mr. Boose exited at 7:47 a.m. for work purposes.
The Board returned from executive session at 8:07 a.m.
Mr. Daniels moved, seconded by Mrs. Pickett, the Meeting adjourn.
