August Board Minutes
The Western Reserve Board of Education met in special session at 7:00 p.m. on August 8, 2007, in the Board Office. Mrs. Fannin called the meeting to order. The following members responded to roll call: Mrs. Fannin, Mrs. Pickett, Mr. Boose, Mr. Daniels, Mr. Todd, Superintendent Doug Solet, and Treasurer Brett Robson.
Mr. Daniels moved, seconded by Mr. Boose, the Board enter into executive session to discuss personnel matters. Mr. Boose – yes, Mr. Daniels – yes, Mrs. Pickett – yes, Mr. Todd – yes, Mrs. Fannin - yes. Motion passed.
The Board entered into executive session at 7:12 p.m. The Board returned from executive session at 8:18 p.m.
Mr. Daniels moved, seconded by Mr. Boose, the Board deny the grievance of the Western Reserve Education Association regarding the reduction in force actions. Mr. Boose – yes, Mr. Daniels – yes, Mrs. Pickett – yes, Mr. Todd – yes, Mrs. Fannin - yes. Motion passed.
Mr .Boose moved, seconded by Mr. Todd, the Board approve the following non-certified personnel for the respective supplemental contract for the 2007-2008 school year: Kelly Harrison – flag corps advisor; Diane Mullins – 8th grade girls’ volleyball; Mike Martz – freshman football (50%); Kyle Meagrow – freshman football (50%); Lawson Bethard – jr. high football coach; Judy Boroski – high school student council advisor. Mr. Boose – yes, Mr. Daniels – yes, Mrs. Pickett – yes, Mr. Todd – yes, Mrs. Fannin - yes. Motion passed.
Mr. Boose moved, seconded by Mr. Daniels, the meeting adjourn. Mr. Boose – yes, Mr. Daniels – yes, Mrs. Pickett – yes, Mr. Todd – yes, Mrs. Fannin - yes. Motion passed.
